    Also known as rice noodles, these sticks are made from rice flour. Many cultures use this type of noodle in China. They are called mai-fun or mi-fun; in Indonesia they are called beehoon, laska or mihoon; referred to as senmee in Thailand, ph'o bhan-hoi in Vietnam and pancit or pancit-bihon in the Philippines. Product of Thailand. Soak rice sticks in warm water for about 30-45 minutes, until tender but firm. Drain noodles and use in Phad Thai, stir fry recipes or in soups.
