Just replaced builder skylights in family room and bathroom. Look great and low-e coating is suitable for non direct sun. We added a solar blind for south facing skylight that gets direct sun. Mechanically works well and translucent model still let's light in while blocking direct rays. The reduced noise during rain is noticeable and a welcome improvement. Next. Let's see how they hold up...

We have had a Velux Skylight for over 20 years and decided to replace it with a new Velux Skylight. Although an updated model, it fit perfectly in the old setting and looks great.
Big Improvement

Had 2 Velux FS Skylights put in our great room as part of a whole house roofing project. Were replacements for 2 30+ year old skylights. Made such an improvement in looks, didn't realize how bad the old ones were. Plus the new ones fit in like a glove, lined up perfectly to existing trim, no need for any final touchups, especially considering they're near the peak of a cathedral ceiling.

Just replaced 6 old skylights with the FS-S06, FS-C04 and FS-C01 skylights by Velux. What a major improvement in cooling/heating efficiency! Before we were losing heat/cooling but these are so much more energy efficient. Also the solar blinds are fantastic, easy to install and look great. I'd like to try the Velux Active system next
