This Standard specifies the production and technical specifications of non-powered air-purifying particle respirator, and the dust mask has strict requirements for testing on material, structure, appearance, performance, filtering efficiency (dust-proof rate), respiratory resistance, testing methods, product identification, packaging, etc. The material of the dust mask must be non-irritating and non-allergenic to the skin, and the filter material is harmless to the human body. The dustproof mask is simple in structure and convenient to use.Its filtration efficiency (dust removal rate) is more than 95% for non-oily particulate matter with a diameter of 5 μm,and its filtration efficiency (dust removal rate) is more than 70% for non-oily particulate matter with a diameter of 2 μm.  This Standard applies to non-powered air-purifying respiratory protective
equipment against all kinds of particles.
This Standard does not apply to respiratory protective equipment against
harmful gases and vapors. It does not apply to the respiratory protective
equipment for hypoxic environments, underwater operations, escape, fire-
fighting.
