    Description

    New Starter Armature and Field Coil kit for 12-volt conversion of Delco #1107951. Fits Allis Chalmers WD WD45
    This kit Includes: New armature, 1 set of 12-volt field coils, New starter drive, 4 pole shoe screws, brushes, brush springs, 2 bushings, & a contact stud kit. This kit fits the early Delco starters that used a contact stud for a switch, at the same end of the field housing as the brushes are. The lists below are primarily applications for the field coils.
    NOTE;
    12-volt replacement field coils (for starters with 4 windings) only have 1 brush wire connection point where the 6-volt fields have 2. This is normal. You just tape off the unused connection point on the brush wire & tuck it back out of the way. Field coils can be difficult to install. Heavy soldering is required to connect the stud.
