"MADELEINE FRENCH PAPER DOLL" is a large single fold card printed on heavy coated stock. On the back is "Madeleine" in her underclothes. The doll is perforated for easy removal. Tipped inside is a five panel unfolder of full color 19th century outfits for Madeleine. The outfits need to be cut out with scissors.
Description on the back; "This early paper doll, which we have named Madeleine, is reproduced from an original housed in the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Collection of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Her wardrobe includes five complete costumes which were the height of fashion in France c. 1835.

This thirty five year reproduction is in great shape. No fading, creasing, foxing, marks, stains or tears. Please note that the paper doll on the back panel has become partially un-perfed.
