    Description

    M.9 aka: .90UNM Tap Roll form Plug HSS (High Speed Steel) w/TiN; to DIN standards Size M.9 pitch .225mm threading length approximate 4.0mm /0.160", Shank 0.060" made from hardened high speed steel our taps are designed for production taping in automatic screw machines, tappers, CNC lathes and CNC mills. The coating used TiN (Titanium Nitride) very thin, increases tap performance and tool life. In our shop coated taps typically tapped three times the number of holes compared to uncoated. Overall length of tap is 25mm (0.984") threaded length (tip to end of thread) 4.0mm (0.160") lengths can vary slightly between batches.
