This prevents them from being installed in overloaded panels. Panels designed to accept the CLT breakers usually only have 2 or 4 spaces at the bottom of the buss bars that will accept CLT breakers. THIS breaker has the CLT tab removed so it will fit anyplace on the buss bars.
